A spring jaunt up the river. (aka, a good training ride on the river Lea.)

This weekend has been excellent weather wise and after 5 days sitting in a most unpleasant office I was chomping at the bit to go out on the bike. One of the few traffic free routes and the best kept secrets of Tottenham are Tottenham Marsh and the river Lea towpath. So with this info and the Sun high in the sky I set off for an hour and a half ride up the river as far as I could go.

Shows the route. Zoom in and see the river and its locks.

I could only go as far as the Swan and Pike Road in Enfield as there is a tricky couple of gates which were not designed for handcycles.
