And the new Moto GP World Champ is...

The Kentucky Kid, Nicky Hayden!

In a exciting final race of the season, Nicky held third position while
Valentino Rossi low-sided out of contention by lap 4 and had an uphill
battle to get back in the points. This was not to be and the Italian
finished in thirteenth place leaving an 5 point difference in the World

Good on you for backing Hayden, I was rooting for Rossi, I just like the Italian cheeky chappy but the result showed who was the better rider during the year.

Roll on the 10th March 2007 and Qatar.
